Making Disciples of Jesus Christ
Today, many professing Christians only do the bare minimum for God. They are content with simply enduring life on earth until they finally get to go to heaven. They are often called ‘nominal Christians’ because they are Christian in name only and barely impact others for God.
But God wants so much more for us.
As part of my involvement with The Last Reformation, I often get contacted by people who want to be ‘kickstarted’. On some days where I kickstart people I encounter nothing but rejection. This day was the complete opposite of that.
Mike had arthritis in his knee which had been causing him crippling pain.
After he was healed, Faye, Mike’s wife, was also healed and baptised. God had been preparing Faye for this baptism even before we met her.
Colin was collecting up all his belongings, and leading the way to the water.
“Where are we going?” some asked.
“We are off to baptise Colin.”
Nothing was going to stop him.
While we were having our lunch, we noticed a middle-aged Maori man sitting on a park bench.
I approached him and told him we were all there because God brought us together.
What happened next was amazing.
A young man living in Hamilton got in touch with me. He said he wanted deliverance.
We baptised him at a local river. When we got there, there was another group of people there too baptising a young lady.
